Today I will be spotlighting Lori (Lbugcash).

More About Lori:Wife to Steve, my fabulous and very understanding hubby, & mother to three fantastic and very active boys,.. Tanner 16 & twins Ben and Seth 11 soon to be 12.

I have been a registered nurse for 20 years and have worked with medical, oncology, surgical, & home care patients but my love and last 18 years of my life has been working in the Newborn I.C.U. I absolutely love the unit I work in and the careteam I work with, not to mention some of my very best friendships have developed through this great career. I feel so blessed to have the opporutnity to do what I love, and get paid while there.
I became a scrapbooker when my oldest was born, falling instantly in love with the feel of paper and all the fun things I could make with it. I have switched over to digital, mostly, in my scrapbooking but I still love papercrafting of all kinds and enjoy playing between the lines of the digital world and papercrafting by creating hybrid goodies. I recently bought a sweatshirt for myself that says "Queen of unfinished projects" and this describes me perfectly. I always have some project in the works with another taking up space in my mind just waiting for me to get it started. I love messy hands, paint, paper, wood, canvas... anything to keep me busy.

Top Five Favorite Things: my cute family, my career, crafting/scrapbooking, reading (especially teen/young adult book series), vacations

Top Five Least Favorite Things: yard work, house work, yard work, house work, YARD WORK!!!

Top 3 Favorite Connie Prince Kits: Happy Place (or all of her disney kits), Game On, Adventure Awaits

You can see more of Lori's beautiful layouts in her gallery

Grab A Byte Sale is still going on at Scrapbookbytes.  I love the colors of this kit.  They are so fun and summery.  The would be great for any summer pictures.  Be sure to get them while they are only $1 a pack.

Also on sale is Templatopia.  I love that you can get so many templates for such a great deal.  Add in that it is from 2 of my favorite designers and it makes it even better.

I hope that you are still with me, that was a lot.  Here is your freebie.  You can download it HERE.

Enjoy.  I hope you have a great week.

Thursday Is Here!

How did we already make it to Thursday?  I swear I looked at the calendar and it was just the beginning of the week.  I guess I was just having so much fun that time got away from me.

I know something that you don’t want to get away from you and that’s all the wonderful packs that Connie has as part of this month’s Grab A Byte going on at Scrapbook Bytes!  Add all the pieces together and you have a fabulous MEGA Collection.  This is ADORABLE! The sale runs through Sunday.

Connie never stops creating new gorgeous and fun kits/collections.  Here’s a sneak peek of what she has coming to stores tomorrow.  Can you guess the theme/themes?

Connie’s team got a song stuck in my head with what you see up above.  I’ll just say it involves a blonde curly headed child.

I’ve been in sort of a fog the past few days so I’m very thankful to the depth of talent on Connie’s team and their willingness to put together some awesome freebies to share with her fans.   Today’s freebie was made by Lori C. using Springtime.  It’s a PreDeco page that matches the printable from yessterday.  Perfect for those who want to add photos or their own story.  To begin your download just click on the preview below.

Take $2 Tuesday 1/29 {FREEBIE}

I can’t believe we are already at the last Tuesday of January 2013.  I’m still getting use to writing 2013 as a date on my current layouts, well, those that I’m scrapping as I take photos for Project 365.

Since it is Tuesday let’s take a look at the two kits that Connie has in the Take $2 Tuesday sale.  Each kit is available at her Gotta Pixel store and her Scrapbook Bytes store for only $2 for today only.  Today’s kits are Our Love and Project 2012: March.

I peeked into the galleries to find a couple layouts to share with you using these two kits and here are some I found.  (Psst.  I’ve linked the layouts to their galleries, why don’t you spread some joy today and leave some love for them?)

Using Our Love created by sparky_mom             Using Project 2012: March created by tweetykl

Adorable layouts!  I love the everyday moments captured by tweetykl and the special family photo by sparky_mom.  Check out Connie’s galleries for more inspiration using these kits!

Connie’s January Retirement sale is quickly coming to an end.  In a few days these kits, add-ons, and templates will be bidding a found farewell to make room for more of Connie’s creations.

Final reminder for today.  I hope you have hung in there with me so far!  Connie has been giving away a piece of an adorable kit over on the GingerScraps Blog all month.  Be sure to swing by to pick up the last few pieces each day this week!

Now if you made it this far into today’s post then you deserve to pick up this free cluster frame that I made using Connie’s kit, Our Love. Just click on the preview to begin your download and enjoy!

Happy scrapping!
