A little history on this layout. I was poking around Pinterest and saw this color palette that screamed Razzle Dazzle. There was a little lantern on the color palette which reminded me of Tinkerbell, of course. I posted this on my Facebook page and said I felt a layout coming on. So.. here is the layout. I bought this lovely vintage Tinkerbell hat a couple years back at Disney World. It was part of a series of character hats. Anyhow... adults can actually wear them even though they are Mini hats.
Connie has been waiting to see my layout. So here it is. Complete with two hidden Mickey's.

I do love Mirror Mirror. Including the little deer, bunny and birds was awesome!! For Snow White is loved by all the forest creatures. Including those Seven Dwarves! So I had to include Dopey with my layout. The embossed papers are really special for this kit.
On the subject of Friday the 13th - this will be a very special one!! Not only will it be Friday the 13th, there will be a FULL MOON! This doesn't happen very often at all. The last time there was a FULL MOON on Friday the 13th was Oct 13, 2000!! And this will not happen again until August 13, 2049!

This is the King Neptune Fountain at the Italy Pavilion in Epcot Center, Disney World. Isn't it beautiful? There is so very much to see at Disney! I used one of my old time favorite kits from Connie - Trashed, Tattered & Torn. Thinking back to the beginning of my posts, you may remember that I try to match color. I do not always scrap Disney in bright, primary colors. As you can see, I have a pretty nice statuary finish in which to hide my little Mickeys.
I will also be working on another Princess Cluster Frame for you next week! Feel free to leave your guesses as to which Princess is next!!

My Chrissy has loved the Little Mermaid for years and years and years now. Funny story; a nurse at my doctor's office still loves Ariel as well. She told me that she actually used to carry a "dinglehopper" and whenever they had spaghetti for dinner, she would rub the spaghetti sauce through her hair so she could have red hair like Ariel. Okay.. Chrissy never went THIS far, but her love was deep. I had to have everything in her bedroom Little Mermaid. Chrissy was always saying, "Ariel is my life!".
Chrissy saw Ariel in the new grotto on her last trip to Disney. Inspired by Connie's kit and Chrissy's love for all things Ariel... my hidden elements layout features Chrissy and Ariel. Taking a little break from Epcot, we're going to have another layout challenge! I don't know about you, but I am LOVING the new {Hues} Red Hot collection from Connie. I can't get enough of these {Hues} collections! Red Hot is just in time for those red hot valentines and valentines' layouts.
I decided to work up a layout around the Queen of Hearts using {Hues} Red Hot. After I was finished, I went through and placed 14 "Hidden Mickeys" in the layout. A couple of them are actually stitch work in the shape of Mickey's head. Others are different colored Mickey heads. These "hidden Mickey's" are not the work of Connie and won't be found in any of her kits. Finding "Hidden Mickeys" at the parks is a very popular pass time. That said, you need to find 10 of those "Hidden Mickeys". Simply download the image and circle the Mickeys. Send it back to me at coyotelady(at)gmail.com. Everyone that participates will receive a $1 coupon to Connie's store. Find at least 10 of those "Hidden Mickeys', and you'll go into the randomizer drawing. As of Dec. 6, 2013, the PhotoPass+ is no longer available at Disney. Don't despair!! There is a new program called Disney Memory Maker. Comparably priced with minimal changes. This package is strictly digital and does not include any hard copies of photos. You can still save money by purchasing in advance. The photos taken by those photographers are definite keepers. I would still buy the Memory Maker package!
So...Christmas is rapidly approaching. Is everyone ready?? I'm getting there slowly. Thank goodness for Chrissy! More or less, the holiday reins have been handed to Chrissy. She is having as much making Christmas as I used to have!! She arrived today and after asking if Savannah was stopping by before our Christmas.. went about setting things up. There went my 4 ft scrapping table. Covered with gifts. I think I'll set up Linky this week for those of you willing to share your holiday photos. One the doggie fence comes down, I'll take some photos to share.

The Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights is a glimmering extravaganza at Hollywood Studios running from Nov. 8 through Jan 5, 2014. So many lights. You really have to see it to believe it! Before the Christmas season is through, I'll share some photos with you.

Great layouts using the template last week! I love the monster eyes that Tami put on the Mickey pumpkins. Lynn had photos of the Easter Parade! I admit.. I have never been to Disney for the Easter Parade. And Brenda, I doubt you all had to do the "shush" sign. When kids tucker out at Disney, they generally sleep very soundly!! I always feel bad because of some of the positions they are in. And poor Amy - she couldn't get Linky to work because some dummy put the wrong date in!! Oh! That would be me! Someone asked me how I seem to get depth in the word art that I use. It's one of those closely guarded secrets, but I don't mind sharing it with our readers. After I bring the word art in to Photoshop Elements, I resize it and place it where I would like it to be. I add a shadow to the word art. THEN... I add some additional layers to the word art. And maybe a few new elements. In the word art I used in my layout last week, I added the pumpkin, resized it to fit. Added a shadow. I added the sunflower again, resized, shadowed. Added the gourd, sized it, shadowed it. Sometimes, I add the word art twice. Making sure to resize exactly so it fits perfectly to the first one. By doing this, and adding shadow to each element/layer added, the illusion of depth is created. I think you get the idea. I would actually have to go look at the psd file to know how many different elements I duplicated and shadowed. Right now... my new hidden elements game is open in psd. I did something a little different with this week's hidden element game. My file consists of:
Eight elements
My photo which is grouped to a blending layer
The background paper
Which means, I hid those eight (8) elements within the photo. They are small. So I decided, I would post a 600x600 jpg (100% quality) and then upload the image to my dropbox, full size at 3600x3600 jpg. To access the full size image, just click on the layout.
Your mission - find at least FIVE (5) of those eight (8) elements. Tell me (1) what they are and (2) where they are in the layout. Send this to me at coyotelady at gmail.com. You have until October 27, 2013 at 7:59 AM to email me your answers. If you have at least 5 correct answers, you'll go into the randomizer and one lucky duck will be randomly selected to receive a $3.00 coupon to Connie's store! Remember - Five of the eight elements must be found... you must tell me what they are... and where they are. The only hint I am giving this week: all elements are from Halloween kits Connie released this year. That said.. here is the layout.

Being a Disney World snob, I have linked you up to the Disney World portion. But for those visiting Disneyland, there is a separate area for you. These little amenities can get costly, I admit. But they make for some really awesome memories. And face it, it's not like we tend to get there as often as we would like! So why not make it uber-special??
That is one of the reasons I love booking behind the scenes tours. Not quite a "behind the scenes tour", there is A Pirate's Adventure ~ Treasures of the Seven Seas which is an interactive adventure. Participants can pick up their "Magic Talisman" at The Crow's Nest in Adventureland. There are 5 missions, each taking about 20 minutes to complete. You can start and stop throughout the day as you desire. This is a fun activity for all ages. No restrictions, and no need to transfer from wheel chairs or ECVs. I LOVE stuff like this at Disney!! I have even pretended to be doing it for my granddaughter, when in reality I was doing it for my pleasure! (Think KidCot stations at Epcot!) This is a relatively new adventure at Disney, and I will be certain to participate on our next trip!! Here's a sneak peak video:
Because we tend to spend so much time in the Magic Kingdom, we see the Captain Jack Sparrow Pirate Tutorial several times. Every show is fun.. each a little different because of audience participation, so it just never gets old! The shows are about 25 minutes long and located very close to the Pirates Of The Caribbean adventure ride in AdventureLand. May I add that Captain Jack Sparrow is a super Johnny Depp look alike! You really have to admire "face characters" at Disney. There are plenty of videos of this adventure on You Tube. Here's one for your viewing pleasure:
Whew! Tired of pirates yet? Hope not. We have not talked about the Pirates Of The Caribbean ride!!No photography!! This is a "dark ride". A nice, slow ride with some small drops. You do need to transfer from wheelchairs and ECVs. No height restrictions but kids under 7 must be accompanied by a person 14 years or older. And awesome. Did I mention it was AWESOME?!?!?
For those who venture out of Magic Kingdom be sure to check out The Legend of Captain Jack Sparrow at Hollywood Studios on Mickey Avenue. No height restrictions, no age restrictions but kids under 7 must be accompanied by a person 14 years or older. No transfer required from wheelchairs or ECVs. Caution: This attraction may be frightening for young children. This is one of those "scary thrill" ratings. This is new and we have not yet been to Disney since its opening in Dec, 2012. More information is available here. I would love to hear from anyone that has been to this attraction!
Before we leave pirates, be sure to visit Downtown Disney. Lots of shops and things to see. One of the best stores is World Of Disney. There are themed rooms for your shopping pleasure, including one for pirates!
I sure hope you all find this Disney information useful. I know first hand how hard it is to assemble things to plan a trip. And we spend months planning our trips! That is a big part of our fun. Making spreadsheets, checking times, locations, etc etc etc. I'll figure out some useful way to assemble the links on our Disney Tab.

I am going to be hosting a MouseScrappers Challenge real soon and Connie has graciously donated a kit for us. I have created a layout of Pirate Goofy, (don't forget to find him for an autograph) using the new release Project 2013 October by Connie. Think of this game as a scavenger hunt. It is up to you to determine what is in my layout that is NOT in the P2013 October kit! (Photos DO NOT count!)
You don't have to tell me the kit the pieces that don't belong are from. Oh! They are from the upcoming MouseScrappers Halloween Mini Kit. Tell me how many total things are in this layout not available in P2013 October, and you will receive the upcoming Halloween Mini Kit. Nope. I am not showing you the preview. You will just have to go do some shopping at Connie's stores.. check out those previews for the P2013 October Kit and make the determinations yourself. Aww.. I have to take a little pity here. So I am adding the preview of the P2013 October Kit. It will be easier to see here than in the stores. I'm such a softy!
It's Sunday! I love Sundays... how about you? I hope you aren't too disappointed. I know I said we would resume scrapping the Magic Kingdom. In a way, we are. But there will be no font for you this week. There is a font for Monsters called Monster AG. BUT.. and that is a big but... I haven't found a site that when I install the font doesn't give me SERIOUS ERROR warnings. I love my Mac. When it tells me not to install something, I take it very seriously. Therefore, I can't recommend the font to anyone.
On the other hand, I CAN recommend the Monster, Inc. Laugh Floor located in Tomorrowland at Walt Disney World. There are NO height restrictions. The show appeals to all age ranges. Those guests in a wheelchair or ECV DO NOT have to transfer. You have special seating areas for you and your companions. This being an indoor show, NO FLASH PHOTOGRAPHY is allowed. For those guests hard of hearing, there is sign language, video captioning and assistive listening. While you are waiting in line, watch the screens for information on texting a joke to be used in the show! Your joke might just be selected. This is a highly interactive show and many folks will be featured on the screen. Be sure to watch for "That Guy". (I actually took a photo of "That Guy" after the show for my scrap book!) The "gaggle of jokes" are meant to amuse and delight the guests.
I rather like including information on the rides and shows. Hope you all are enjoying that. Even the preschoolers love this show!! It's hard not to love the characters from Monsters, Inc.
Speaking of Monsters, Inc... I have another Hidden Element game for you this week!! Send me the correction answers and you will receive this super-cute Monster in The Making Mini Kit! It coordinates perfectly with the full kit. Let's take a look at your prize:
I told you it was super-cute!! Just to make things clear, the hidden elements are placed in/on one of the three photos. There are no elements outside of the photos from this kit! I used elements from the full kit for my decorative elements! So there will be no mistaking the elements for something used purely as decoration. Study the Mini-Kit!! The elements that are hidden are from that kit. Just know I really tried to be clever this time! The papers DO NOT count as elements. That said, I placed three elements into each of the three photos. So yes.. there are a total of nine (9) hidden elements! Your mission - locate 5 of the 9 hidden elements. Email their exact location at coyotelady(at)gmail.com.
