Cluster crazy!

I have to admit that I've gone cluster crazy this weekend - yep, you read right. I've been taking one of the Gotta Pixel workshops - THE ART OF CLUSTERING with Tamara - and I've learned so much that I just want to practice all the time! I used to be so afraid of using leaves, branches and other "real" items in a layout because they would never look right for me ... but, now, I'm much more comfortable in my clustering ability! If you'd like to learn more about clustering from a true master of the craft, be sure to sign up for Tamara's September workshop series at Gotta Pixel. There are three September workshops in total and you can sign up for full access or study along access.

All of these preamble is leading up to something ... can you guess? How about a cluster FREEBIE that I made during my practice sessions this weekend? Happy Saturday everyone! Shari here to kick off your weekend with you - it is going to be a busy one for my family. My husband and I work at the same place (across the hall from one another actually!) and today we are holding a BBQ for all of the staff who work for us and our families. It is going to be lots of fun but also tiring for sure! It is also my hubby's 34th birthday today but we are officially celebrating tomorrow. Well, I guess it isn't an "official" celebration since he says he doesn't want a birthday party - just a family get together with cake and presents! MEN! Sigh.

In any event, I am definitely going to be taking lots of pictures this weekend - my only problem will be carving out time to scrap them! I'm feeling really into double-page templates right now - not sure why because they take me WAY longer than two standard individual pages would take combined BUT they've tickled my mojo so I'm rolling with it!
