Sunday Sneak Peek

Autumn has a different feel to it where I live now and where I grew up.  About this time of year where I grew up we would be pulling out long sleeved shirts, definitely switching from shorts to jeans, and layers would be a must due to the fact that the mornings would have a bite to them and the afternoons you would need to shed a few layers so you wouldn't overheat  In a few weeks the leaves would be changing into a riot of colors, shedding the various shades of green that we love to the brilliant oranges, golds, and browns that many of us associate with the word Autumn or Fall.  Thoughts of Halloween and Thanksgiving begin to push their way in, along with needing jackets and gloves for those Friday night football games and bonfires.  Where I live now, we're just thankful for the break from 100+ degree days that feel like the surface of the sun has somehow become our reality even though we sure didn't take a rocket ship into the unknown and make a wrong turn.  The trees this year are going straight from green to crisp brown like over done bacon and one strong wind will have them bare a couple of months earlier than usual.  We wont' even get started on the humidity that either produces thunderstorms or just reeks havoc on the emotions and well-being of everyone.  Do I prefer one over the other?  Maybe but there is beauty in both.  I may not love the weather at the moment where I live, but I do appreciate not having to live in freezing cold starting in October and lasting until March.

Connie has a new kit coming your way later this week that gives you more beauty to tell your Autumn stories and more.  Here is a sneak peek at what's coming your way!

Even more Fall themed goodness is available in Connie's latest new release, Autumn Equinox!  I am such a sucker for Fall kits and this one sent a warm hug right to my heart.

I'm itching to make some cards with this kit.  Maybe I'll pretend that it's a cool 60 degrees instead of the 98 degrees that is currently baking outside at the moment. What are you planning on making with this kit?

Today's freebie is a lovely cluster from Deb R. made with Connie's Autumn Equinox collection.  Enjoy!

Have a spectacularly splendid Sunday!
