Disclaimer - any and all mistakes over the next two weeks should be overlooked and attributed to my overworked, overwhelmed, and exhausted back to school teacher brain. We've been back as teachers for 3 days and I've been burning the candle at both ends for weeks already. On Friday I was given the exciting news that choir at the Middle School has been added to my teacher load and school starts in a week and a half. It's an awesome opportunity to continue to help build the choral program and see students thrive that I've taught at the Intermediate School while still providing the ground work to get them started at the Intermediate level. However, it's a big responsibility and I have two classroom spaces to prepare, more grade levels and subjects to prepare for, and my brain feels a bit like scrambled eggs at the moment.
Enough about my life update! I swear Connie was looking into the future when she created this month's Ginger Scraps Buffet Sale collection, Overthinker! It's quirky, funny, and a bit kitchy but totally my vibe!
