Weekly Wrap-Up + FREEBIE

It's been pretty quiet around here at Connie's blog for the first week of 2023.  I don't know if everyone is tired, away from home, or like me - sick.  I've been back at work but without a voice and feeling pretty crummy all the way around. Yesterday I had to resort to typing out 99% of my directions to my students.  Thankfully nearly all of them were amazing and cooperative.  I'm thinking I need to keep some hot apple cider on hand to soothe my throat all day long.  I'm not a hot tea drinker.  I haven't found the combination that makes hot tea taste good to me.  I think that has something to do with being from the South and being raised on iced sweet tea.

What do you do when you have a sore throat?  Do you have a tried and true "go to" remedy?

So let's see what is wrapping up today with Connie before her new release hits the stores on Friday!

Wonderfully Quirky is a sweet collection that is on sale at Ginger Scraps as part of the January 2023 Ginger Scraps Buffet Sale.

I think Connie's Creative Team liked one of the templates a lot!  I love how different each of the layouts turned out with the same kit though.

#2023 January kicked off the #2023 series in style!  Have you checked out this wonderful wintery kit?

Today ends the 2023 New Year's Sale where you can save 50% off most of Connie's store. If you have anything of Connie's on your wish list, this is a fabulous time to clear your list and stretch your scrapping budget.

That's going to be it for me today.  I'm off to see what I can mange to get done with my students.  Hopefully they'll still be in an understanding mood and help me try to continue to recover from whatever monster has stolen my voice.  I'm going to leave you with this Quick Page Freebie from CTM Deanna created with Outdoors: Fishing.  Have a great day!

Thanks Tracey! Today I felt marginally better for the first few classes, even could speak a little but my voice was completely gone by the time my 3rd class got to me. By the time 10th period rolled around it was a lost cause. I just need to get through one more day and then I can rest it for 48 hours. I'm hoping that the second week of 2023 goes much better than this week has.

Thanks for the tips Becky. I haven't discovered the right amount of honey or sugar to add to the hot tea yet to make it where I like it but I'm on a mission to figure it out. Then again, up until a year ago I hated anything that even had a trace of coffee taste. We've discovered that I like flavored cappuccinos like caramel, vanilla, and hazelnut but so far I've only been brave enough to drink the ones we make with the Keurig at home. So there's hope I'll eventually find the right combination to like hot tea!
