It's cold and icy outside. For those who are unfamiliar with Texans, we don't have driving skills for icy road conditions unlike those who live in states north of us or Canada. So, yes, that means EVERYTHING shuts down. School is closed so I slept in. I should have blogged last night but after a marathon of extra duties for the past 4 weeks, I crashed instead. My bed was calling my name from the moment I stepped through the door yesterday evening and I answered that call willingly. I hope all of you are staying safe and warm. I'm definitely a Southern gal. I would never survive up in the Northeast of the USA or Canada. I might brave the cold enough in a little bit to take a few photos of the ice covered trees to document this year's Winter weather.

I waiting for the sleet that is coming down to lighten up a bit before I head outside to take photos. In the meantime I think I'm going to drink my cappuccino and scrap a bit.
