The last week of 2021 has flown by! We took down the Christmas tree and most of the decorations this morning. While I love the twinkling lights and all the little touches, I also love the feeling of things getting put back into place. We usually leave our tree up through New Year's Day but the dog we got a little over a year ago has tried to eat most of the ornaments that were on the bottom half of the tree and one of our new cats got caught in the lights twice. Thankfully we put ornaments on the tree this year that weren't sentimental (figuring that this year was going to be one of "those" types of years with the dog and cats). Our dog managed to break our angel this morning though because it got left on the kitchen table while my husband was putting the tree up in the attic. I hope your day has started off a bit less dramatic than ours!
