Thursday Thoughts + FREEBIE

Do you ever find yourself needing to create something just to settle your mind so you can get other things accomplished?  That was me on Wednesday evening when I got home from working up at the school all day.  I found myself jumping from one task to another and not really feeling like I got anything accomplished.  So after supper I sat down and was looking for some inspiration when this quote jumped out at me.  I knew just the kit from Connie to pull it all together!  I'm thinking about printing this and hanging it in my choir room to kick off the school year.

If you purchase the kit, know that the tree is not part of the kit.  I added that from some CU graphics I had on my computer.  The fonts I used were Perfume, Ooh!, and Bithany.

I love that Connie's kits lend themselves to topics that I wouldn't have even thought of.  Take Lorraine's layout with Aviary as an example.  I saw lots of potential for airy, elegant, flowy layouts and projects and she used it to scrap about a child's joy about the garbage truck!  I think this is probably the prettiest layout I've ever seen with that topic.  It's whimsical and really out of the box!

Lynn H.'s layout fell more in line with where my mind went with this collection.

Last week Connie also released Country Life and who can resist those adorable cow faces?! I haven't made the layout about my brother's cattle but I know this is the kit I want to use for it.
