Memorial Day is here.
While we take time to honor those fallen soldiers, this is the unofficial start of Summer. Normally my kids would be done with school, but they have three more days left before they are out. But the silver lining is my oldest son who turns 9 tomorrow will get to bring cupcakes for his class on his actual birthday. I am born in the middle of summer and always wanted to celebrate my birthday at school. He can at least experience it once!
