Where have all the Connie Fans gone?

I think some of you must have gone into a DSD scrapping hiding spot or something because you’ve been super quiet.  If it wasn’t for seeing the download data from the freebies given here on the blog I would honestly think Shelby and I have been talking to ourselves for the past few weeks.  Shelby, I promise they are out there and that they are stopping by, they are just playing shy with us or something here on the blog.  Seriously though, Shelby and I love hearing from you all.  We like having some response to what we are writing every now and then just so we know you are all out there.

So what’s up on this glorious Sunday?  I have a sneak peek to share with you!  I know, it’s been a little while since that has happened.  Connie and I have been like two ships passing in the dark and I’ve missed getting the sneak peek out to everyone on Sundays but not this week!  Here is a look at what Connie will have coming your way on Thursday this week.

EEEK!  Templates!  My favorite scrapping tool!  I haven’t played with these yet but I’m looking forward to it.  If you would like a chance to win these on new release day, head over to Club Connie Prince on Facebook and leave a comment on this week’s new release post.  On Thursday someone will announce the winner there as well!

That’s it for me for today.  I’ll be back on Tuesday with a look at the Take $2 Tuesday Sale. Check back tomorrow to see what Shelby has to share with you.  As you head off today, we have the first set of Journal Cards with #2018 August as a freebie for you created by CTM Kelly.  Enjoy and keep an eye out for two more sets she’s made for you here on the blog!

A timely reminder that we should take some time to interact. I live in Australia, so it is usually some ridiculous hour of the morning that I come to Connie's, but that is really not a good enough excuse! I am two hours into my 65th birthday, and that is a very sobering day .. I don't understand where all that time has gone. We live in such a super sped up world .. it seems like I was 30 and I blinked and here I am!! We have had our nephew staying with us this weekend, he is 20 yrs old and has autism .. we are very lucky he has a great personality in that he is affectionate, and not violent at all. He has a wonderful sense of humour. He also has severe language disability, so there isn't much verbal communication, but he gives us so much joy :) He will always need a carer, as he still isn't safe crossing the road by himself, but he can make a very basic sandwich and get himself a drink, although whilst here his very willing slaves do it all for him he he he. I hope you and Connie have both had a fab weekend! Thanks so much for the beautiful journals!!

Still here enjoying your blog (even if I don't comment very much) in Western NY. It is one that I look forward to every day. I LOVE all of Connie's kits (and probably have more that I will live long enough to use...lol
I am 64 years young and like Lily said, where the heck have the past 30 years gone?!
I started with traditional scrapping back when it first got popular and have switched over to digi (less mess and can take it with me on the airplane when I go to my sisters in Florida for scrap retreats). Now I use my paper supplies for making greeting cards.
Keep up the good work ladies! We are here supporting you (even if we are quiet).

Thank you four ladies for stopping by and letting us catch up with you!

Lily, I have found that my special needs students teach me so much more than I teach them. They remind me to be patient, to be kind, to stop and see the good in things, to not take myself so seriously, and I honestly live for those moment when they smile and show me their joy in just being with me. Your nephew sounds like a extraordinary young man!

LaurieQ, I hear you and Lily on the wondering where time has gone. Our oldest will be graduating this year and it's like she went from 4 to 18 in the blink of an eye.

Mary and Anonymous - thank you for letting us know you are here too! We love hearing from Connie's fans!
