Spotlight CT, A New Contest, Coupons, & Even A Freebie!!

Happy Sunday everyone, Connie here with today's blog post!  I have a lot of fun things
to share with you today beginning with a new feature that will highlight my awesome
Creative Team members.  Also, there is a new contest beginning today, new coupons for
March, and even a freebie from me!  So, let's get started with all of this fun news!

Creative Team Member Spotlight

Most of my loyal blog followers will be very familiar with this week's CT member
in the spotlight, Shari!  Shari has been an amazing addition to my team from the very
start.

She is a great friend that I love dearly, a powerhouse of ideas and energy, an
amazing designer, and one of the most genuine people that I have ever had
the pleasure to know.

Shari took a moment to do a little interview with me and here is what she has to say!

1.  Name: Shari Sekel

2.  Location: St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada (very close to Niagara Falls)

3.  Tell us a bit about your family / and or home life: Married to my perfect match, Josh, for five years.  Smart, gorgeous daughter, Sophie, who is almost four.

4.  Tell us about your job:  Not many people can say that they have their dream job but I do.  I am the Director of Graduate Programs for the Faculty of Business at Brock University.  In a nutshell, I am responsible for the administration of seven masters and pre-masters programs, about 400 current students, thousands of prospective students and lots of program alumni.  I’m fortunate to supervise the five most amazing staff in all of higher education!  Though we are crazy busy all year long, we have a lot of fun and plenty of laughs through it all.

 5.  If you had an entire day to yourself and you could do anything you want, what  would you do? I’m not sure that I even want to imagine this because it almost certainly will never happen!  I would love to scrap all day – make layouts, freebies and more.  I will never have enough time to scratch my digi-scrapping itch!

6.  How long have you been scrapping?  When do you scrap?  Who / what is your favorite scrapping subject?  I have been digi-scrapping since Spring 2009.  I wanted to make a slide show for my grandparents’ 60th wedding anniversary and it all went crazy from there!  I scrap just at night after my daughter goes to sleep.  Fortunately, my hubby is an IT superstar (manages the IT for our Faculty at the University) and has our house set up so I can access my digi files from every floor!

 7.  Top five favorite products that you just can't live without: Templates, Connie’s kits, templates, Connie’s kits and my alpha maker!

8.  If a genie popped out of a bottle to grant you one super power, what would it be? Super speed so I can get more done in 24 hours!

 9.  Tell us something out of the ordinary about you.  I have a fear of bananas!  An actual fear.  I think my sister used to chase me with them when we were little. LOL!

10.  In five years I will_______.  Be going back to Disneyworld for my 10th anniversary and reveling in my daughter’s first trip there!

Here are some of my personal favorite layouts from Shari's gallery!

Thank you for sharing a little of yourself with us Shari!
We love you!

Question - do kits like the current freebie from Gotta Pixel count or do we have to use only paid products from your store?
