Sunday Happenings. + FREEBIE

Connie and I have switched places and she is now on a vacation trip.  Thanks for the kind understanding last week when one of the posts had an oopsie moment.  If you want to go back and pick up the updated freebie, I exchanged the duplicate out for a different one.

I had a wonderful week away with my husband celebrating our 31st Anniversary with a trip chasing waterfalls in Arkansas.  We barely scraped the surface of all the beautiful sights.  I have many layouts planned around the hikes we took.  I can say that I did some things I never imagined I would, definitely did not conquer my fear of heights, and tested my limits where trails and bluff edges were a bit close.

Connie's newest template bundle is going to get a work out helping me scrap all the photos my husband and I just took.  I tend to scrap one photo at a time or a couple on a page so Connie's Whitespace temps are my usual first to choose when I'm scrapping, but I'm glad she has so many awesome template packs where there are multiple photo placements.  This bundle is full of those kinds of templates!

I've been sitting out in our shade garden while working on this post, listening to the birds chirp and soaking up more fresh air but it's starting to get a little bit warm and my computer is saying it's about to run out of juice so I'm going to finish this up with a freebie and then cut back some of our mini coleus to start some new cuttings. New Quick Pages, kit added to My Memories, and a FREEBIE

 I crossed wires with Connie on Thursday's freebie, sorry about that.  It happens from time to time.  I updated the Thursday post with a different freebie, so if you swung by yesterday and noticed the repeat, scroll down under today's post and pick up the new freebie.  

I'm not going to be available starting today (Friday) through next Thursday.  If there is a mix up on something, a link isn't working properly on a freebie, or just something other than a link to a kit needs to be fixed, see if someone has already posted in the comments about it.  If it's been posted about, put a pin in it and check back after June 12th for an update.  I'm on vacation for the next week and Connie is prepping for a trip herself.  I won't be checking on the blog at all. Matter of fact, I'm going to be mostly unplugged for the next 6 days.  We will be in areas where service is spotty at best most of the time and I really need the time away to reset.

 It's time to take one more look at the new release specials that Connie has going on.  First up is the newest collection in the #2026 series.  Can you believe we've already made it to the June addition?

The June challenges have dropped at Ginger Scraps and I know these two collections are going to be helping me craft some layouts for those.  What has caught your eye about these kits?  Do you have plans in the works to use either one in the near future?

I'm leaving early in the morning on a road trip with my husband.  We made these plans over the past 6 months and luck would have it that everywhere we are scheduled (with reservations that can't be cancelled) to go is supposed to have rain all week.  We have plans to hike and visit some waterfalls so the rain will definitely make the waterfalls impressive, the hikes getting to them may be a little wetter than we originally planned though.  We've purchased some rain gear, packed extra clothing and towels, and have a tote in the van to put the muddy shoes into when we get back from the hikes.  It'll definitely be interesting and I'm sure I'll have plenty of stories to share.  Connie is going to jump in and have the blog for the next week, then she's taking off for her adventure right as I get back.
