Cancer. It’s not a four letter word but it’s still ugly. It strikes terror into hearts and lives. This month is known for the focus on Breast Cancer Awareness and Research. Connie is donating a portion of the sales of her brand new kit, “Think Pink,” to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation in honor of her friend, Eileen, who lost her battle with breast cancer in October of 2000.

About 1 in 8 women in the United States will develop invasive breast cancer. That means for most of us if we aren’t that 1 then we know several women who will be. I imagine each one of you reading today’s blog have known someone that has battled this disease. As Connie’s Creative Team started posting their layouts to share this statistic became abundantly clear. These stories are the face of what this disease does to families and lives. I’m sharing a few today and there will be more. I hope that you are able to express your own stories with this kit.
