Where did this week go? Even though we’ve had one more blast of winter-like weather around here (and for me that means cold temps but no snow) the longer sunshine days are a welcome balm to a winter weary soul. Now if the temperature would reach a balmy 70 to 80 degrees and stay there for a while I’d be ever so happy. How about you?
We haven’t gotten to go take photos in the bluebonnets and I so wanted to do that this year. We haven’t done that since April of 2008 when our youngest was just a few months old. It’s either been too cold or wet/muddy. I doubt I’ll get the all dressed up photos but I’m hoping to snap a few casual pictures this weekend before the bluebonnets disappear for another season.
I seldom plan on taking certain pictures unless it’s something like a birthday. I guess that’s why you see quite a bit of randomness in my layouts. I’m just that kind of person. I’m always in awe of those who get those “everyday” photos that look like portraits.
Enough of my ramblings today. I know you are here to see what Connie has in store for you. Have you picked up Connie’s This or That Collection for this month? It’s gorgeous!
This week Connie also released Sunshine and Sprinkles. This kit makes me smile because I have a little girl that loves to run outside and play in the rain. It makes me happy to see her so carefree and unguarded in those moments. If you have one of those carefree spirits let loose the next time it rains and grab your camera. You’ll get some amazing photos, I guarantee!
Connie never sleeps. At least that’s my theory on how she manages to get one awesome kit after another done. Here’s a sneak peek at what she has coming to her stores tomorrow!
Did you see that it’s part of the Project 2013 Collection? You know that means it will be crammed full of goodies! Be sure to swing back by the blog tomorrow for the full reveal.
I was playing around with Connie’s kit, How to Bee Happy and I created this journal card freebie for you to use on your pages. To download just click on the preview.
Happy Scrapping!!!
