That's all the Friday news from Connie for today. I'm going to be out of pocket most of next week so just a head's up that if something goes wonky here on the blog, I won't be checking in until June 30th. We are taking a special trip with our youngest daughter as a combined "Senior trip" and 30th Wedding Anniversary trip. We're dropping her off at a DCI leadership camp and then my husband and I are going to do some touristy things in the upper Northeast part of the United States for a few days before returning to pick her back up. We haven't taken a big trip like this in about 9 years! I'm looking forward to getting lots of photos and seeing places we haven't been before.

Have a wonderful trip!! Is that Drum Corps International? If so, wow! Congrats to your daughter!
ReplyDeleteYes, DCI is Drum Corps International but she's only going as part of colorguard leadership camp. She'll get to perform with the group in a community performance but isn't on tour with them. She is hoping to audition for an independent Winter Guard this year since she is opting to graduate from High School this Summer instead of going through her Senior year of High School. She only needed one class to graduate and is about finished with it as a credit advancement course in this first Summer session.

Nonetheless, it is great that she will be performing with the group. Congratulations on her upcoming graduation! Good luck to her on her audition with the Winter Guard!
