Just for YOU from Connie! Part 1

Are you a Facebook fan of Connie Prince Designs? (If not, get on over to Facebook and "Like" her!!). Earlier this month, Connie's Facebook fans voted on the theme for a brand new FREEBIE kit and the winning theme was everyday type things.

As a result, over the next few weeks, Connie will be bringing you "A Day in The Life Of ...". This weekend, she has papers to share ... check out this amazing colour scheme and super preview:

A few items before I give you the download link:

1. Please leave Connie some well-deserved love if you download.

2. Please do NOT share this file directly via any groups, forums or individually - instead just provide a link to this blog (scrapinfusions.blogpost.com) so that others can come and pick it up directly.

3. Be sure to download before midnight September 4 when this link expires.

Connie would like YOUR suggestions on the elements for next week's portion of the kit. Please leave her a comment of some "everyday type things" that you'd like to scrap with. Be sure to leave your suggestions by midnight on September 1 so that she's got time to put your thoughts into elements before next weekend.

  2. Thank you! These papers are beautiful!
Suggestions...I love when designers add plenty of "hold down" stuff to their elements such as tape, staples, brads...I know it sounds like something so boring but it helps SO much when creating my layouts! :)

  3. Thank you so much! I love the colors....

For me, "everday types of things" would be a vacuum cleaner, feather duster, household cleaning agents....AND some buttons, flowers, ribbons, etc.

  6. Love these papers, Connie! hmmm.. everyday items...watches/clocks, COFFEE, add some flowers, and STRING, maybe a swirl to fill it out. Nothing is really sticking out after that. THANKS!

  7. Great papers and I love the color scheme. Perfect for the fall-ness that is creeping into the air. For elements, things like swirly ribbons, brads, etc. Thank you so much for the freebie!

  8. Love the papers, such beautiful colors.

For scrapping: I agree with the staples/brads...my stash is lacking those.

For life: laptop, cleaning supplies, laundry basket, toys (2 year old in the house so there are toys everywhere), and furbabies stuff...food, litter boxes, treats. And somedays I get to use a pillow to sleep. lol

  10. Thank you so much, the colors are great!!!

Suggestions: every kit needs a couple of flowers, ribbons, sting, staples, buttons just because, but I since this is an everyday kit I would also love to see a clock, keys, a phone (cell or regular), coffee cup, reading glasses, and tv remote....things I need every day. I'm sure whatever you come up with will be great because you do great work!!!!!!

  12. Thanks so much! I love the colors. Everyday stuff is cooking things (foods, pots and pans, vacuum, laptop, etc.) I also have to agree - something to hold down stuff (staples, brads, etc.)

  13. Connie! I have to say...you're one of the most generous designers ever! I love your work so very, very, very much. I know you don't know me, but I work with Lena and Tab on their CT (doing admin-type stuff) and you are just soooooo loved by all of us! I am a huge, huge, huge fan, and I wish I could purchase everything you release!!! Soon enough, I'll be able to! Thank you for all you do for your fans! We all [heart] you!

    Hugs,

    Candi

  14. oh and as far as suggestions: I'd say: clock-type elements, tags, brads, shoes (I have yet to find a cool "shoe" element that isn't high heeled), date elements of ALLLL kinds are a must-have for me, as I do the whole Project 365 thing. I love seeing new and unique ways to "date" stuff on layouts.

    You're the bomb, sister!

  15. Oh this kit looks fantastic so far! Thanks so much! My favorite ellies:

fasteners of any kind (brads, clips, staples, buttons, etc) stitches, and flowers/leaves. Oh, and tags.

  19. Great colors Connie! Love it, thank you!

Everyday Element suggestions - dishwasher, dish soap, laptop, pen(s), vacuum, broom, mop, dish drainer.. as for other things - stitching, ribbons (straight and curled), buttons, brads and/or staples, I think every kit needs to have some sort of bling (splatter, scatter etc).. Just my 2cents.

  25. like the papers. have lots of layouts to do & these will work nicely in them. thanks so much!

  26. Alrighty! As for me, I actually PRINT out & make cards with the kits - so my list is a bit different.

I need tags that you can actually write on, for the inside sentiment. with a border is very helpful, not plain white, not too dark.

WORD ARTS!!! Quotes in PNG or JPG. I need BOY stuff. Not baby boy, kid boys, please.

I go for realistic flowers so I can use flower soft on them.

Border type frames, antiqued looking make for great card fronts.

thank very much for the beauuutiful freebie!

    D :)
