This GRAB BAG totally RULES!

TGIF for sure this week!  Anyone with me?  It has been a busy one at work for me and I haven't had nearly enough time to scrap - especially when I'm so excited about my new role as Connie's QP artist.  My creative mojo is itching to be released!

And today's release is one of the reasons why I want to get to my PSE so quickly.  Amazing collection (again) - 'nuff said!

SCHOOL RULES

Keep an eye out for these super add-on packs as well - also on sale!

Today's FREEBIE is a TWO-FOR of quick pages from the wonderful and generous DEANNA and LORI C.  Please leave these ladies a note of thanks if you download.

Thank you for the very nice QPs. I appreciate the time and talent it took to make them. I won't be able to download them, however, because I am getting a warning message that my virus protection program (I use Avast!) has "detected a threat," and when I look, indeed, a page that looks like potential malware is trying to download along with your free gift.

I'm surprised that no one else has written to you about this. I've been getting these messages for some time now. According to various and sundry reports, MediaFire is one of the worst services right now for problems like this. It used to be 4Shared, but they seem to have cleaned up their act over there, only it's still difficult sometimes to download a file.

There are a number of new services available that are really good, and they are free as well. Box.net continues to be quite reliable; the main problem with Box.net is that high-traffic sites frequently run out of bandwidth.

I do encourage you to find another service and add it as an option for those afraid of using MediaFire. I, for one, will no longer download anything from MediaFire, no matter how enticing an offer it might be. My system is just too valuable to open it up to malware, viruses, trojan horses, etc.

Thank you so much for reading this and taking it in the spirit it is intended, that is, a simple message to let you know something might be wrong with the service you are using. If more people were to discuss this and make it known to the good folks at MediaFire, perhaps they too would take measures to insulate their service from attacks like this.

Sincerely,
mskinsey
